Laptop Oyster

Sherpaq Mobile Products introduces Oyster : an elegant desktop docking solution for your portable computer.

Simply open the laptop, slide it into the Oyster and connect your power and USB cables.

Your screen will now be at a more usable height, you can use a full size keyboard and mouse comfortably and the built-in USB hub with storage bay at the rear of the Oyster provide integrated cable management.

With Oyster the laptop user has the benefit of portability coupled with the comfort and functionality of desktop computing.

Compatibility

You can determine if your laptop is compatible with Oyster by answering two simple questions:

1. Is the base of your laptop (not including the screen) less than 1 3/4" (4.45 cm) thick? If yes, then your laptop will slide comfortably into the Oyste

2. Does your laptop screen open approximately 15 degrees If yes, then you will have no problem viewing the screen. Some hinge designs do not allow the screen to open past approximately 110, which is insufficient to work properly with Oyster. The table below identifies the compatibility status
